We were at the end of our tether, noone seemed to be able to help us with our 4yo daughter and what was like a phobia of doing a no.2! She would not consciously go and would only go in a nappy at night, the medics just advised laxative powders and just didn't seem to get this was a psychological problem. We were told about this book on a parenting site by an American mum and we are so grateful. This gentle method involves going into your childs room 1-2hrs after they have fallen asleep and speak to them about how you love them and how you would like to see their behaviour change or encourage them with something. Because the child is asleep they cannot dismiss what you say and their subconscious accepts what you say, very much like hypnotherapy, my dd would not listen to any talk about her problem in her waking hours but after a few weeks she was going on the toilet every day, we had a little regression and I just went back to Sleep Talking for a few nights. It can be used for all sorts of things like helping a child feel confident at school to fear of insects. Honestly this book helped us where nothing else did, if I ever met the author I would buy her one huge cocktail!!

Received the book in good condition, and good package. The book is second hand but is in a fantastic condition. Like new. I hadn't read it as is for a friend. Stay safe, Pablo G
