One of the most fundamental truths is speaking your message from the same viewpoint that the listener understands. Jonathan Bernis states this... and has proved the point by reaching out in such a way that those of both the Christian and Jewish faiths would find hard to ignore. Although there are many "Last Days" writers, it is rare to find one so refreshingly direct using the greatest source of all. The reason for only four stars.... well, I would rather see fund-raising (and all the important points raised as to what really might happen to your money), put into a separate category rather than sandwiched together with the main text as it does break up the flow a little. Apart from that, I would highly recommend this little book both for those who are familiar with Biblical text and those who are not. The evidence of this particular phase of the human story being on the brink of great change is everywhere, and is becoming increasingly hard to ignore. Jonathan Bernis does not merely give us a "wake up" call, he gently guides us as to which side of the bed to get out of ........ and points the way to the bathroom door.

Clearest exposition of Yeshua I have ever read, explaining Jesus was and is God and Jewish, the Messiah, who died for us all, first Jews and then Gentiles.
the importance of Jewish feasts, the importance of blessing Jewish people and especially Mesianic Jews. I feel I have a lot to 're learn as a believer in Jesus my Saviour!
Thank you Jonathan!

I had my doubts - but tried the book. Up to date. Well researched. Interesting biblical background. And surprisingly well written.

An unusual book, with a great deal of information about biblical events/teachings with a very different slant. Christian theology from a Judaic viewpoint, looking at old knowledge with a present-day translation, and arriving at unexpected conclusions. Jonathon Bernis carries the reader through familiar territory, yet altering the perspectives, and heightening interest with his use of anecdote, personal experience and current Messianic trends. It is an eye-opener for Christian readers, and a shake-up for orthodox thinking, all presented with a depth of genuine sincerity and passionate religious zeal - hence the 5 stars!

Have previously read this book borrowed from friend. Wanted own copy to lend out as I considered it a thought provoking and clarifying book on various issues pertaining to the last days. The fact that this book is written by a Messianic Believer in Yeshua (called Jesus by many western Christians) adds weight and depth to the book. Well worth the read.

Really interesting book - I consider myself quite well informed, but I learned a lot through reading this book - definitely one to go back to and reread in a little while - will take a while to absorb all the gems... Easy to read, interesting, glad I made this purchase!

This book only arrived two days ago and I have already completely read it. Could not put it down, the views of the Rabbi are sound and perhaps more of us should be aware of how to talk with our Jewish friends. Gives much good advice,

Written by a Messianic Jew, this is a really good read. Jonathan takes his reader through his own journey to the realisation that Jesus (Yeshua) is the Messiah. He looks at various Old Testament prophecies and their fulfilment, and discusses those that have not yet been fulfilled as well as those that are beginning to be fulfilled. It's a well balanced book and well written. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants some Biblical insight into prophecy relating to the end of the age. I've read much of it several times.
