I bought this book with high expectations. I'm not an accomplished player but reasonable enough, and wanted to have a go at bluegrass. The main issue I have is that barely any of the tabs contained in the book bear any resemblance whatsoever to the tunes they're supposed to be. This book can shatter your confidence as a player, seriously, it's that bad. The one star is for a picked version of Amazing Grace, which is pretty, but the tabs of bluegrass standards such as Blackberry Blossom, Will The Circle Be Unbroken, Old Joe Clark and especially Cripple Creek are just shocking. There are two versions of Soldier's Joy, a fingerpicked version that sounds nothing like it, and a flat-picked version that's so simplified and lacking in rhythm it kills the tune. That's £8 I'll never see again.
