At the end of the Silver Sable volume we see that Peter Parker and Kitty are getting along great but we also see Mary Jane upset over the fact that Peter has found someone else while she still hopes to win him back.

The volume begins with Spiderman fighting off a robber with the help of Kitty who is in a different costume so no one knows that Spiderman and Peter Parker are both dating Kitty and people start putting it together that Peter is Spiderman. The first part ended with Kitty returning home from her date to get attacked by what appears to be the x-men.

Peter, curious to what happened to Kitty finds the Blackbird waiting for him, when he reaches the school he sees who appears to be Kitty who attacks him.

Enter Deadpool. A man who has changed his appearence so he is better equipped to fight and kill mutants for entertainment. Spiderman finds himself in a Island with the x-men, all of which are under attack from Deadpool and his men. With an excelent action packed couple of comics, we see Spiderman and Kitty closer than ever, not only this but we see a great entertaining plotline.

Moving on from that Peter returns home hoping to have a relaxing time but finds himself on the wrong side of Mary Jane who saw Spiderman and Kitty getting closer on TV. Peter still wants to be friends with her but it is obvious that she isn't interested in being friends with him. Not only this but we also see ultimate Blade briefly, alongwith the entrance of Ultimate Morbius who turns out to be a good guy rather than the original Morbius. Morbius and Spidermanclash when both are trying to rescue Ben Urich from turning into a vampire and Spiderman is also bitten. In school Mary Jane realises that Peter is upset and he confides in her about his condition and for the first time since the pair have split up they confide in each other and their friendship is rekindled.

Finally at the end of the volume is the second annual, which sees Peter taking on the Kingpin again but is being led astray by Jeanne De Wolfe who we found out in volume 14 works for the Kingpin. Peter tracks down the Kangaroo for Jeanne oblivious of the fact that he is helping the Kingpin. While there he meets with both Daredevil, Moon Knight and the Punisher, all out after the same person however the Punisher and Daredevil show Spiderman the errors of trusting people and Daredevil tells him he should grow up before doing this job. The annual ends with Daredevil meeting with Moon Knight talking about teaming up to take down the Kingpin.

A fabulous read and entertaining all the way through.
