3.0 out of 5 stars Buyer beware! This book is good for some--not others., 27 May 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Mastering Adobe GoLive 4 (Paperback)
If you have read any of Molly's other stuff on design principles, and you already know how to use Photoshop, ImageReady, ImageStyler, and Illustrator, don't buy this book. One wonders why a woman who openly confesses a dislike for WYSIWYG web programs bothered to co-author a book on the most WYSIWYG program for web designers ever written. Having said that, if you are totally new to web design and have just bought GoLive and are contemplating other Adobe products, then this might be just the book for you. Even then, you might end up buying another book on GoLive to get some real in-depth coverage of this program's powerful features. The book is quite well written but the title is misleading.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beware!, 5 Sept. 2000

This review is from: Mastering Adobe GoLive 4 (Paperback)
For the more experienced GoLive user, this book seems inappropriate. There is too much about other associated programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator etc, and not enough about the more complex capabilities of GoLive. (140+ pages out of 588)
