5.0 out of 5 stars A super story, with a satisfactory ending, 15 Feb 2008
from the 'TADPOLES' story book series.

'Tadpoles are structured to provide support for newly independent readers. The stories may also be used by adults for sharing with young children.
Starting to read alone can be daunting.
Tadpoles help by providing visual support and repeating words and phrases. These books will both develop confidence and encourage reading and rereading for pleasure.'

24 high quality shiny pages in the popular 2-page spread format with a short sentence or two on each in large, bold text. Beautifully illustrated throughout.
Meaningful facial expressions further enhance this delightful book.

Leo and his Dad accidentally leave the hamster's cage open so he is not where he should be the next morning. It is difficult to call to him, because he hasn't yet got a name! However, all is well that ends well - the hamster is back with a very fitting name, as it turns out!

From the back cover:-

'Leo has a new pet - a tiny hamster. But what should they call him? Perhaps the hamster can tell them?'

Example of text:-

'Leo had a new pet - a tiny hamster.
He didn`t have a name.
"We'll give him a name tomorrow," said Dad.
"We'll see him in the morning," said Dad......'
