4.0 out of 5 stars Still a good story, make that short story
Another Erikson story of powers concentrating in one place. Its got to the stage where you know the more shabby and downtrodden someone appears the more likely they are to be the most powerful being around. Still a good story, make that short story. Im sure Erikson has a few other tales he has decided not to turn into full novels, putting 4-5 of them together with this...

2.0 out of 5 stars review of story
I found the story lacking in depth, not enough action or ivolvement by Bauchelain and Korbal Broach, I know it was a short story
but it was not gripping enough.

Im sure Erikson has a few other tales he has decided not to turn into full novels, putting 4-5 of them together with this would have made a brilliant collection that I would expect every Erikson fan to buy.
