5.0 out of 5 stars The Ancient Evil awakens.
The last book. Halo:Glasslands wasn't the best book in the Halo book series but I liked it more than most. However this one is even better. I wont go into details but the plot, is very good and has a bit of Foreshadowing to the events of Halo 4.

Despite a slow ending I found myself thoroughly absorbed into this book. It kept me reading; something I like in a book. A great read. 5 Stars.

My son loves Halo, and he loves all the Halo books, including this one, which help to develop the story more than the game can ever hope to do.

4.0 out of 5 stars Halo 4 fans must read, 7 May 2013
Very good book the writing style not as good as previous books but I liked the story line and explains alot of back story for Halo 4 Spartan ops which I liked. Halo fans like myself I think will enjoy and I look forward to the rumoured 3rd book?!
