EXIT PLAN Jerry Mitchell No. 3 (021215) this is hard work to
Start with, unless one is a nuclear geek, and takes some time to
line up with anything that might follow. More abundance of
American penchant for abbreviation in their initialisation
of things which seems to be a common language in the
States but leaves the average Brit, dare I suggest, mystified.
However, approaching the 9% mark the story, in keeping with
previous works by the excellent author 'pair', the promise
that their names imply begins to be fulfilled and the story
hots up to the extent that the desire not to put the book down
becomes almost overwhelming. As per the last novel I very
much like the continuity that is facilitated by reintroducing
Characters from the previous books into the story line 13%.
It might be said that, at times, there seems a little too much
'padding' but the detail seems to add authenticity to the tale,
almost moving it into a factual dialogue and 'identifies' the
power and authority of the plot and those involved. Not to
mention the research that has even undertaken by the authors.
At 33% the story continues to excite and this has been the case
for a considerable time. The plots in these stories vary
considerably so that every event seems likely to develop into a
crises but it is impossible to forecast which one! This is such a
good story (37%)! At 58% been so absorbed that I have neglect-
ed to record the various ups and downs in this riveting tale. The
difficulty I experience, when I get a book as good as this, is that
my greed to absorb the plot is so intense that I find I am racing
through passage after passage (86%) and often need to reread
so that I do not lose track of the characters and exactly what is
transpiring! At the end of this book just Wow! aNd of all things
at last I find a glossary, could have done with this many times
throughout all three books read thus far, nevertheless,
In three words - an 'Action Packed Thriller'!

As with the `First Team` series which I have bought with regret, this book contains a good story of about 100 pages & almost 300 pages of `Techno` gobbledegook;Very poor formulae writing which is tedious to read.A big disappointment from a writer whose early works were excellent;Take the money & run.

This is an outstanding submarine and special forces thriller based around Iran's quest for nuclear weapons and the extraction of 2 Iranian scientists by US SEALS based on a nuclear submarine The escape and evasion by the extraction team is thoroughly plausible and well narrated. This story is highly recommended.

Book 3 of 4
Pretty good story and a diverse series so far. I will be reading book 4.
All in the Merriman genre so nicely readable, but without too much relationship stuff.

Griping from the first page, describes the technical side well. The author is very reminiscent of W.E.B. Griffin. I've discovered a new author.

I have been a fan of Larry Bond books for many years and this one is right there with some of his best. It remains tense throughout.

I enjoyed this book. Kept me interested all through. Thought the ending was ever so slightly far_fetched, but an otherwise good book
