4.0 out of 5 stars Original, 21 Jan 2011
This review is from: Nightmare (Paperback)
A clever novel based on the exploits of the daughter of paranormal investigators, the blonde rich girl who hires her to go to haunted places, and the son of a minister.

It's an original novel, as the rich girl seems drawn to the paranormal and haunted places and seeking some kind of connection with life beyond. Or is it the other way round, and life beyond is seeking her?

The girls seek out the most haunted spots in America with varying results and I found it a bit spooky. I'm sure horror fans wouldn't bat an eyelid but the book cleverly walks between chills and adventure without being over the top.

I was worried the book would run out of steam at the end but the ending is not bad!

I found this intriguing waiting for what would happen next. A few nights when the wind got up and made my parents house where I was staying, I wished my husband had stayed instead of having to go back to work lol. Am now going to find more from this author.
