This review is from: Internet Communication and Qualitative Research: A Handbook for Researching Online (New Technologies for Social Research series) (Paperback)
With the emerge of computer and the Internet, online research method has added colours to the traditional qualitative and quantitative methods. Whether or not this will challenge issues concerning methodology, epistemology and ontology remains to be seen. The Internet and computers are not dying and they seem so exciting and energetic for the academia. This book provides a comprehensive introduction to online research methods and is very helpful for those who are thinking to adopt internet research methods, such as online surveys and online interviews. This book is very user-friendly and you don't need to have much previous knowledge of internet and research methods. It also contains detailed and interesting conversations between online communications. Andrew Lai
