I bought this book because I was interested in the modelling perspective even though I am not normally a chick-lit reader. However, I really liked the whole plot not only the modelling bits and I now think that well written chick lit should not be undervalued!

It was well written and humorous and after a bad day at work exactly what I needed for a bit of escapism! It is what it is - light hearted reading but it was cleverly written and I would recommend it! Take it on holiday or read it on the tube to help with day dreams about a more glamorous existence!

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this little gem of a read, having been recommended it by a friend. It had exactly the right amount of chick lit/romance storyline with an edgier portrayal of the modelling industry and was surprisingly well written for this sort of genre - there was non of the convenient plot arcs or age old cliches you often come across. My only critism being that it was suprisingly difficult to get hold of - I was too impatient to order it online but had to visit three high street stores to get a copy - it was sold out in the first two.

Well I can't wait to see what Katrina will be doing next?! Perfect Image is a really enjoyable read, I couldn't put it down! It made me cackle with delight (Dominic was hilarious!) and I found each page was even more of a pleasure than the last. The perfect summer read, it is well written and avoids all the bodice-ripping cliches I would expect to find in this genre. I would recommend it to all!

From start to end this book offers a horrifyingly realistic portrayal of life as a model and the corruption of the fashion industry. It's Notting Hill meets Devil Wears Prada and will make you laugh, cringe and keep you reading on to see if the girl gets her guy-well one of them.

started well and was really enjoying it until katrina the main character sold her soul to get modelling work. she is a intelligent girl who wants to do postgrad study but she lets a arrogant egotistical movie star treat her like something of his shoe because she is getting work and totally overlooks the great guy perfect for her!!! bit of a miss for me
