5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous Little Book
Sweet and funny and sometimes poignant tale, with the cutest characters I fell totally in love with, thoroughly enjoyed every delicious little second of it, will definitely be hunting out more offerings from Little Black Dress.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pointless
I deliberately borrowed a chick-lit book from the library so that I could have something easy and enjoyable to read on holiday. However, this was so bad that I didn't finish it and read my husband's book instead!
The story is terrible, the characters are totally unbelievable - I can't understand how it ever got published.

4.0 out of 5 stars lovely tale, 19 Oct 2008

This review is from: A Romantic Getaway (Paperback)
a tale of tow sisters, few pets and a castle cum hotel. marilyn's son alex inherits a hotel in devon so fed up with london, sisters leisel and marilyn head out to the country to run said hotel. throw in a lonely old guy, warring staff and a hairy old dog this tale is alot of laughs, although there is some excitement in the form of some hunky vets and the new handy man. theme of the story, family, the one that they create in the hotel!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 15 Feb 2011
This review is from: A Romantic Getaway (Paperback)
To the lady that left that nasty review, I do not think you were reading the same book as everyone else. It is funny ,witty and has some brilliant characters. Please only write reviews if you have actually read the book and can write something constuctive instead of rude and nasty.
