4.0 out of 5 stars Very Funny
This was my first Jo Barrett book and I am sure it won't be my last.

This book was extremely funny..I kept finding myself burst into laughter (NOTE: Do not read this whilst on public transport) lol

It was very well written, maybe about half true on what women say and do in the bathrooms lol

If you want a laugh rather than a serious read, I...

3.0 out of 5 stars blah
thought it would be really funny etc but it just didnt do it for me. although the stuff about what happens in the girls bathroom was very funny and totally spot on the rest just didnt really spark for me. and having read two of her books and neither have managed to live up to the blurb on the back. maybe the next will blow me away

If you want a laugh rather than a serious read, I definate reccommend this - excellent for reading on the beach or if like me, reading on the way to and from work.

5.0 out of 5 stars I judged this book by its cover, and its title., 1 Mar 2008
This review is from: The Men's Guide to the Women's Bathroom (Little Black Dress) (Paperback)
I was not disappointed although it had sat unread for quite a while before I picked it up. I did however read it all in one morning. Its a lighthearted realistic story with nothing too horrific, no terrible downfall of hero/heroine or their relationship. The "Year of Claire" (Claire is the heroine) stuff is kind of inspirational and her friends are interesting and realistic too. Read this book.
