5.0 out of 5 stars The unbiased book review by Geoff's agent!, 17 Mar 2007
This review is from: 1966 and All That (Hardcover)
So many journalists put their views and sometimes hurtful comments about that July day in 1966 and this book shows there is more to Geoff Hurst's life than 1 football game. Yes it was a spring board but how many "stars" have done something that made big news for a week or so and nothing else ever again. This story shows how Geoff along with his wonderful agent!!!!

have kept him in the limelight over 40 years from that July day even last year (2006) front page news and massive media interest kept Geoff as the unoffical "English Ambassidor" particulary during the first 7 months up to the poor currant England teams demise from the 2006 World Cup. Along with a chart record, TV adverts, a underground advertising campaign a tonge in cheek media advertsing campaign and stories about/concerning Geoff in every newspaper across the World including front page in the New York times, Deli, Japan and even a few appearances on CNN shows there is more to Sir Geoff Hurst's story than "the young lad who got lucky one july afternoon in 1966. This book gives you some of the back ground to the man, some say legend (especially in the East End of London) his agent is friendly and helpful too! contact for autograph enquires and appearance requests
