This book is a good book if you only wish to learn about HD up to 2000, backed up by great pictures. But what was disappointing to me was the fact that I deliberately looked at publishing dates when ordering so I could have the latest bikes included. So a publishing date of 2012 is rather strange considering I could not find any bikes produced after 2000.

I got this as a birthday present, and in the same way as a previous reviewer was disappointed to find that there are no Harley Davidsons beyond about the year 2000 in this book. The publishing date and description were very misleading...

That said its a nicely produced book, and at its current price on Amazon (around 7 pounds) represents very good value for money in hardback. But when a more up to date book is produced I shall replace it.

The book is 256 pages covering a lot of history (HD singles etc) and chapters on the various model types like Softail, Dyna etc.

Its just a shame that its a repackaged version of previously published book.

I bought this as a gift for the recipient to use as a reference. Unfortunately within a 10 minutes browse, he had found several mistakes, including one where the information was accompanied by the wrong photo. A nice book, full of great photographs, but no good for a reference. I was able to return it for a full refund.

Christmas gift for my father in law - loved it! Plenty of illustrations to accompany the text. Great quality gift for someone's biker collection of books

Bought for my son and he loves it. It's quite a compact book but what it lacks in size it makes up for in pics and information. Fast delivery too.
