5.0 out of 5 stars Worthy tribute
It is no secret that the author is a big fan of his subject, and so he should be! As the pr-eminent dramatist and author of the second half of the 20th century Arthur Miller deserves any record of his life to strive to match his massive contribution to mirroring the morals of mankind.

3.0 out of 5 stars Book too long
This biography gives very little insight into Miller's character, but concentrates on his somewhat naive political views, e.g. being a Marxist because he thought the Russian Government system was pro-Jewish. The author repeats himself fairly frequently, making the book far longer than necessary, more editorial control should have rectified this.

This book does the man justice. It painstakingly details the politics and progress of events throughout the last one hundred years, and illustrate how Arthur Miller was impacted by and impacted on all he experienced.
A colossal book befitting a colossus of a man.
