David Morgan really does know what he's talking about. My weight and health in general have been up and down over the years (more down than up!|) I joined a gym but wasn't sure how to go about exercising properly and didn't know enough about the weights to use and the correct form to adopt.
David not only clearly illustrates the best weights to use - but also lays out an 18 week training plan to not only build muscle but adopt a healthier lifestyle overall. More than half the book is dedicating to forming lasting healthy eating habits and I'm not talking about a faddy diet mentality - David does not condone this kind of eating as he says they are short term and could do more damage than good. He instead adopts a more long term view to eating by incorporating all of the healthy food groups (Complex carbs, fibrous carbs, protein) which makes complete sense.
With regards to my own health, strength and fitness - I've never felt better! I'm 34 now and I feel more energetic, motivated and I'm happier than I've ever been.
If you're looking to get healthy, or if you are already in pretty good shape - but looking for ways to improve yourself; then "Be Your Best" is an absolute must for you. It's like having a personal trainer but without the added cost. Highly recommended.

In the past I have bought countless fitness books that promise the world. Be Your Best firmly puts the ball in your court and challenges you to defy the conventional approach and look at overall fitness as a long-term lifestyle change. I am a natural ectomorph and was pleased to see that the low carb one size fits all diet is not promoted for those wishing to gain muscle-and neither is a six day a week split routine. This book is not your average fitness book and Ironmind enterprises called it "a wolf in sheep's clothing"; one point though....20 rep squats hurt, and you will find yourself swearing in languages you weren't aware you knew!!Buy it, and do what I have done and stop buying other books-save your money!
