A good book, which goes from a brief history of the show's Tracy Ulman roots all the way up to season 10. It's pretty much just a cut-down version of the Wikipedia page (where I saw this book cited many times) for each title, but there's lots of little additions (mostly the trivia and notes they add on) that make it worth the couple of quid you'll pay.
If you're a Simpsons fan and have got some spare change, you can't say no to this.

Very good idea, though it is sadly full of a lot of errors & doesn't pick up on all of the hidden references in episodes that I expect it would. I actually out smarted the book on many levels. I did learn a few new things, but as I said before many glaring errors one for example claims Krusty has Red Hair?

If you're seeing this review, I'd advise you to buy this second edition instead of the first "draft". It's definitely more complete, as the title suggests, and includes reviews and other bits up to season 10. I was surprised to see that it actually had some information on Matt's new show, Futurama, also.
The cast of characters is a little incomplete, and whilst characters that only hard-core fans may recognise, like Scott Christian are included, some of the more major characters are not listed.
If you haven't already bought the first edition, then buy this instead!
