A welcome addition to our collection of books about the Blackcountry.
The author worked for fifty years as a press photographer, mainly in the Blackcountry.
His book, full of his work from those years, contains photographs from the late 1950's through to this century.
To those of us who have lived through those fifty years the book has stirred up all those half forgotten memories of events, places and people of the Blackcountry. If you love great photography this book is a must, but if you happen to love the Blackcountry as well as photography then you are in for a treat. A worthy addition to the Blackcountry library.

I brought this for my dad, who, bless, still lives in the 1930's. Full of interesting photo's and storys about the area. Very interesting to see how people lived and what they endured in days gone by
