"Paths of Destiny" is a pretty good book by E.V. Thompson. The author does a pretty good job of showing the reader the conditions that were faced by the soldiers and their families during the conflict. The story between Alice and Gideon was good and I really enjoyed it. Overall "Paths of Destiny" is a good book but I had wished that it had been longer.
