Hmmm - makes you feel even worse about being single!
on 3 March 2003
Now I'm offically a sad old woman, living alone with my cats (or a very messy male housemate - amounts to the same surely?), and have read practically every dating self-help guide out there, have to say this one doesn't rate up there. Most guides are witty, pithy, you learn something new, or are just good page turners. This isn't one of them. The first half chapter made me want to go top myself quite frankly - the last thing you need to hear when wondering why you're *still* single is its all your fault. It may be, but ease us into gently Ms. Page, huh? Have to say the motivation to contunue dating really left me after this book, as did the will to carry on reading it. Perhaps a good one if you want to be single, and possibly unhappy about it, but if you're looking for help on why you're still single, go for another book. Any other book.
