I bought this thinking at first it was a sort of book, but its actually a pack of thirty individual walk cards.
This is a great idea !
Each of the many different walks has its own card, which you then place into the provided plastic cover - nice !
This is to both protect the info card from the weather, and make it quick and easy to glance at the card and confirm were you need to go. Also fits nicely into your pocket.
I have only done four walks so far and found the card easy to read and understand.
The information on gradient and estimated time of the walk was also very usefull.
I gave this four stars instead of five for one reason, were do you start the walks from ?
The start of some of the walks can be rather vague, even using an OS map, so i often struggled to find the starting point. Perhaps a postcode for the start point car park would prove most usefull.
All said and done - great value !

Please note, I never got round to doing any of these walks (as the weather was not particularly kind when I visited Wales). That being said, this was a great little item to look at before our trip. At first, I thought it was a bit strange that these each walk was on a separate card (rather than all of them bound into one book), but this was great as it meant the girlfriend and I could easily look at different cards at the same time. The map on each card is very clear, with parking, start and end locations and various facilities plotted. Distances, estimated times, gradient rating and difficulty rating (the latter two given marks out of three) makes it very easy to pick/disgard certain walks without having to spend hours looking through them.

I had never been to Snowdonia before and reading up about the various walks before I arrived was a real bonus. It enabled me to orientate far more quickly.

Must be written by experts. Everything was as descriped. With the recomende OL maps, nothing can go wrong. Just don't forget the daily weatherforecast.

I didn't realise that this was a card format. There are individual cards for individual walks which are easy to follow. My only complaint is that the area I wanted the walks for only have a couple of walks shown. Not really for me but good if you want a broad area to explore.

Having spent many walking holidays in snowdonia using a book for guided walks, these little cards are great and they come with a little plastic wallet to protect them. Lots of great walks to choose from.

It's very useful and handy, but most of the walks suggested are for experienced people. I was expecting more medium - low difficulty walks.

I like the condition of the box and the cards which enable me to take the walk with me without carrying the weight of a book, the detail on the cards are very good as is the information contained about each walk.

Received on time and in good condition. Exactly as stated and again this arrived early, which has given me more time to plan the walks I intend to do. Thank you
