Too brief to properly be considered "a guide". Spain is a BIG and varied country, so all that this brief little book can do is tell you a tiny bit about each region, and select a few towns from each, for a paragraph or two of comment. I'd recommend it if you're thinking of going to Spain and have no idea of which part you'd like to head for, but if you already have a destination planned, you'll need something much more detailed and region specific. If you're planning to drive around Spain and don't mind spending a very long time on the road, this book might give you some ideas if you're happy to accept the author's opnion on what's "unmissable", but a significant number of important locations are relegated to "also worth visiting" notes, of no more than a sentence or two.
