Lynn Williams' book on CV writing is excellent. I work with a lot of people in handling job change and recommend it to my clients because it provides opportunity for creativity as well merely conveying information. Lynn provides a whole series of "Readymade CVs" and loads of space for you to be yourself in applying for that crucial appointment. Buy it!

The Cv's I created for a few family members with help from this book gained success stories such as getting the job! I would also like to add the positive feedback from employers stating how impressed they were with the CV too!. This book was a definite good buy, so much so that it is my second purchase as I cannot find the first one, I just had to replace it! Another reason why I think this book is good is because it has a good section on how to fill the gaps, so if you have been out of work for a few years this really helps!

Can't say this was the best book on creating a CV. Most of it is either common sense or regurgitating the fact that a CV should be no more than 2 pages.
If you are just starting out in the job market this book might benefit you but if you have an already strong CV you won't find anything new here.
Lastly, although this book is boasts The Times on the cover I couldn't help feel an overall American format to the CV's (but maybe that's just me).
