5.0 out of 5 stars child protection
this book is fantastic and up to date!the info in it is relevant to what is good practice in child protection today. its an interesting book that covers so many important issues in detail and is great for helping with child protection assignments. The book contains info and legislation i.e. children's act 1989, to back it up and is simple to understand. A fantastic book...

Easy enough for them to summarise the legal principles but if you want to know how to make a decision about taking a child from its parents the book has nothing to offer other than stuff along the lines of, "points for discussion - what do you think might be important?". A bit like a guide to some sort of alternative therapy where the authors save all the valuable information for those who pay to actually go to classes.
