Interesting one this. It is quite an intellectual read but does really offer hope that global corporate culture is changing. In part the authors site Coca-Cola as an example of a company that is accruing enormous "spiritual capital" by putting its distribution networks in India and Africa at the service of the respective national governments to distribute polio and AIDS medication. As well as its "Project Peace" building health clinics throughout China and southeast Asia. The cynics amongst us might merely see these acts as little more than opportunistic marketing ploys. But hey lets be positive -well done Coca-Cola.
