This review is from: The Official "Spinal Tap" Companion (Paperback)
Sometimes plumbing the depths of a murky past can lead to disenchantment and sorrow. As a long term fan of Tap, I'm delighted to report that The Official Spinal Tap Companion manages to tread the fine line of keeping up the tongue-in-cheek tradition of Spinal Tap's gloriously fabricated history and revealing one or two inner truths about the cast.
Whilst some of the book's contents (such as the song lyrics) will not be news to "old friends" of Spinal Tap, a comprehensive A-Z of the band, and the transcripts of the film's out-takes beautifully complete the story of the band.
If you've seen the films and have been left wanting more, this book is not to be missed.
