if you dont like football or dont support your team week-in,week-out then you wont even come to close to understanding the content of this book.the brimson brothers ensure from the outset that this book is for true football fans only and rightly ridicule certain 'armchair' supporters.what is also good is that the brothers support a real team in watford,a team who are not in the premiership.i found that due to this i can relates with everything they talk about.supporting a team outside the premiership is what its all about, your team is rarely on sky,it is not commercialised and they players play because they want to not because they want to buy a new car or house next week.they speak of the highs and lows of being a true football fans, and that derby day really is the biggest game of the season.something which i think is forgotten in premiership football and by people who pay their for sky and think they are genuine.what is also is extremely effective in this book is they way they justify their statements with accounts from fellow football fans across the country..you cannot beat it,it cannot be matched by anything else.that is why the outsiders of football will struggle to understand the obsession of football that the brimson brothers portray.

Unlike some of their others this attempts (and generally succeeds) to inject a bit more humour in to things. Some of the anecdotes are trouser wettingly funny.
