5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely short stories
There are several short stories which I find are a perfect length, long enough to keep my 9 month old amused for the whole story before he wants to turn the page. They feature Mummy and Daddy animals with the little animal falling asleep at the end of each story. Lovely bedtime read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not sure what age this is meant for
This book has very think pages and flaps for little hands to turn the pages. However the stories on each page are quite long, and my 2 year old daughter gets bored, can't wait till I finish reading and turns the page. Each story has only one picture to go with it, so while there is plenty to listen to, there isn't much to look at. If it is meant for an older kid, then 5...

Each story has only one picture to go with it, so while there is plenty to listen to, there isn't much to look at. If it is meant for an older kid, then 5 very simple 2-minute stories just aren't that entertaining.

a beautiful collection of stories which are perfect for calming energetic little kids at bedtime. Excellent for my 2 year-old. The illustrations are lovely, the pages are thick and easy for little hands to turn. An excellent addition to a child's bookcase.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful, textured book, 29 Sep 2011
This review is from: Night Night Stories (Usborne Anthologies and Treasuries) (Board book)
My son loves this book, the illustrations are beautiful, with sparkly bits and texture. The tabs make it easy for him to turn the pages with little fingers. Each page has a story of just the right length. Lovely book, we read it every night.

My children (3 and 1) absolutely love this book. The stories are very short but they are really nicely written and presented. They especially love the penguin story including the "sleep little penguin sleep, pretty penguin sleep" song which is quite sleep inducing when we sing it over.

I bought this to read to my toddler before bed. We both love the stories and keep re-reading it and another book over and over again. He loves the familiarity of the stories now and I love the tone of them. Nice pictures and great length of story.
