This time they do not drive racing cars (or even elvensteeds disguised as cars), but wield swords and ride elvensteeds who pretend to be normal horses in Renaissance England.
The bastard son of King Henry VIII is the key to a prophecy. An England filled with religious fanaticism and misery or an England filled with creativity and happiness. And what exists in the Real World is reflected Underhill. The Bright Court Elves do of course want te second possibility to come true. The problem is , the Dark Court Elves have also got the propecy, and they want the future filled with misery to come true.
Denoriel Silverhair has been selected to become the child's protector. He is not too happy about becoming some sort of nursemaid to a mortal boy, but he does accept the job.
It may not be one of Misty's best books, but it is a fun read, and the collaboration with Roberta Gellis works very well. It goes well with misty's other "urban Elves" books.
And in addition to the hardcover, you get a CD with 40 other books!! Not only books by Misty and Roberta, but several other authors as well

This is the first in a set of 4 books on the above subject and I had read and enjoyed it before. It was great to read it again and in my preferred format.
