This review is from: The Temple of Shamanic Witchcraft: Shadows, Spirits and the Healing Journey (Penczak Temple) (Paperback)
If you're new to shamanism and shamanic techiques then this is a great book to start with. Penczack, being an eclectic witch, blends shamanic teachings with the prinicpals and beliefs of witchcraft to create a harmonious partnership. For those who already practise the Craft of the Wise this book is non-invasive on already established pagan and wiccan beliefs and shows how you can incorporate shamanic teachings into your current working tradition.

The book is set out to last for a year and a day with each chapter being a lesson to last a month, and the final chapter concluding with a self-initiation into shamanic witchcraft.

This is also a great book for any on a more spiritual path who are trying to contact their spirit guides and higher selves and have been struggling. I'd had no success contacting my animal guide until I read this book, now I'm building a relationship with my spirits so that we may work together harmoniously.

Definately reccomended to all Witches and those new to shamanism

5.0 out of 5 stars The way witchcraft was intended to undertaken, 20 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Now this is what I call witchcraft! This industry is full of would be theorist, who seem to have a never-ending list of critiques concerning work such as this. This author is extremely gifted and has given me the tools to forge a direct personal relationship with my spirit companions. Coming from an African pagan tradition, there are almost no literary sources pertaining to such paths, but this books served as a launch path for helping me to work directly with Yoruba deities, who's secrets have been fiercely guarded, although such beings were never directly addressed in this work. This book is a very informative primer for creating spiritual relationships with any force or pantheon known to humanity! 100 stars would not be enough to rate this treasure!
