This is a great and powerful deck. When i recieved it in the post, i was extremely impressed by its quality and beauty. I startetd using the deck instantly for divination and got great results, its an extremely intuitive deck, certainly not just a set of good looking novelty cards as some would have you think.

I have given this item a 4 star rating only because after using the cards every day for approximately 2 weeks, i've noticed that the gold has warn slightly on a few of the cards. Its not majorly noticeable but they're such a beautiful set of cards that you kind of cry if even the slightest mark or scuff appears on them.

So i purchased the Egyptian deck by the same makers, but it doesn't have the same symbolisms. The majaor arcana look ok, but the minor arcana are near impossible to use intuitively. So i cant really use these cards as an everday deck either. In the hopes that the makers of these decks read this PLEASE RE PUBLISH THE TAROT OF THE SPHINX DECK FOR GOODNESS SAKES.

The Nefertairs tarot deck looks great but cant be shuffled too frequently, which is such a shame because out of all my decks i favour the Nefertairs deck the most. However, i must also add that i got amazing results by using these cards as meditative tools, just visualizing the cards in detail at night before i went to bed and meditating on them made all the difference.

You know you have something very special when you get these in your hands. Digital scans will not do them justice and you need to see them to believe them. The theme is ancient egypt but you don't need a PhD in Egyptology to be able to interpret them. Each card comes alive every time you look at it. These do not follow the traditional Rider Waite imagery and yet, the way they have been painted, the position characters are in, symbols, colours etc all work together to yield the meaning of the cards even if you are not the most advanced reader.

The images are printed in colour but placed on a background of gold foil which makes this the most sumptuous deck that I have seen yet. The titles and the numbers of the cards are also printed on gold foil, which, set against the jet black background of the rest of the card, means that they stand out beautifully. I can't do them justice describing them in words, they have to be seen to be believed.

I personally believe they give very powerful and indepth readings and the egyptian theme adds to the mystique and atmosphere of these beautiful cards. They are becoming very difficult to get hold of thus I am trying to source a second copy so that I can have a collectors deck and a working deck. Beautiful and you will not regret the purchase - if you can find them!!
