5.0 out of 5 stars Smashes Through The Myths and Propaganda. Essential Reading.
Seldom has a book been more relevant and more timely.
With the ongoing 'war against terrorism', the current climate in the political and international arenas, and the unrest in the Middle East, the author delves into the myths surrounding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and sifts through the Islamic propaganda and media bias against the Jewish state.
With his...

1.0 out of 5 stars Fragmented and biased
I purchased this book for my son who has course work on the Israeli issue. The book attempts to cover the subject by addressing cherry-picked questions. Because of this, it is almost impossible to compile an historical sequence of events. Two other aspects also make the book a very difficult read. Firstly, the author is clearly and admittedly biased and this makes his...

This review is from: Unholy War: The Truth Behind the Holy Wars (Paperback)
Seldom has a book been more relevant and more timely.
With the ongoing 'war against terrorism', the current climate in the political and international arenas, and the unrest in the Middle East, the author delves into the myths surrounding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and sifts through the Islamic propaganda and media bias against the Jewish state.
With his exceptional expertise, the learned author approaches the whole scenario from a Biblical basis and analyses the entire issue, past, present and future, with alarming insight. We all owe it to ourselves to read this book and to be completely aware as to what is happening around us at this crucial time in history. The contents of this book will open our eyes and enlighten us to the wholesale deception that is presently surrounding us. We need to know the truth about Islamic fundamentalism, it's real agenda, the Middle East crisis and the facts concerning the Israeli-Palestinian issue and how it affects the rest of the world, ourselves included.
This book is full of such facts from cover to cover and is very easy to read.
I also seriously recommend two other books by the same author entitled, 'Jerusalem In Prophecy' and 'The Coming Last Days Temple'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Execellent balanced account of the ongoing problems, 19 April 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Unholy War: The Truth Behind the Holy Wars (Paperback)
This is an excellent book on the ongoing problems in the mid-east. It gives a clear concise account of the historical roots that have given rise to the present problems. It also tackles the causes of the present troubles. Most importantly it gave me information that the the worldwide media dare not report and overcomes their (the media) bias against Israel. Buy it. Try it. Wonderful read.

Because of this, it is almost impossible to compile an historical sequence of events. Two other aspects also make the book a very difficult read. Firstly, the author is clearly and admittedly biased and this makes his commentary emotional and questionable at times. Secondly, the author peppers the text with biblical quotes to the extent that it loses continuity. All in all a most disappointing book.
