This review is from: Ashes Diary 2005 (Paperback)
It's been said there are three versions of the truth, yours, mine and the real one. In this review of Australian Cricket 2005 Ponting shares his views on umpires, the players and the results. There are many moments of double standards, like exchanging comments with the umpire while at the non- strikers end about a questionable call, only to berate Ashley Giles for doing something similar in the next test. There are several instances like that. Overall it's an enjoyable read if you want to get one players perspective, especially when it involves losing an Ashes series. His 2009 Diary is equally good
