I read the Journey almost 5 years ago, and it and the practices within the book have literally transformed me and my life over that time, Brandons unique journey that she speaks of in the book is inspiring and gives you the strength to face your demons, and discover the lessons we need to learn to move forward in our life find true inner peace and be who we truly are.
The audiobook is the text of the book with the added bonus of having the process you need to use to do the work to clear out the issues in your life that hold you back, and cause physical and emotional blocks, with Brandons guidance you feel she's with you on your journey.
The book itself is not the life changing element, inspiring as it is, the true power is in using the processes featured in the book.
it would not be too strong to say.. this book saved my life.

There seems to be a little confusion on this one: it's not an audio version of Brandon's book The Journey, but rather an audio guide to the process work contained in the book. You need to have read the book for this to work. If you have read it, this is a great way to start 'Journeying'. Brandon explains in more detail what the process work is all about, gives some useful tips, then guides you on your own Journey processes. I feel that the Physical Journey works better in this format than the Emotional Journey, and either way it's powerful to have Brandon's voice guiding you through your own healing introspection. I loved it!

I genuinely enjoyed reading this book. It is very fluent, warm and inspiring. For that, I would cetainly recommend it. I had very high hopes for what the book promised, however, I am disappointed to say, that it did nothing for me. I really wanted it to, but it didn't!
Even if it had worked, I would still point out to anyone who's about to emark on this 'journey', you can't do it alone. The book contains scripts and worksheets at the back for the 'Journey' process, but you need someone else, who you trust and who's read the book as well, to guide you through it.
This doesn't seem to be a problem as there's a 'Journey' CD available, with Brandon herself guiding you through. So, I decided to buy the CD. I have tried and tried with it, but end up feeling frustrated because, the simple truth is, I don't really understand how it can work. There's no hypnosis involved, all you are supposed to do is start with an emotion and 'drop through it' and then drop through the next emotion, as if layers of an onion. At some point, you may have a situation involving other people attatched to certain emotions. At a later point, you address this issue by a 'camp fire' in your imagination. Before you get to the camp fire, you are supposed to continue 'dropping through the layers' until you get to what Brandon calls 'Source'. I never got to this point and even though it's best explained as possible, I still don't really understand it. What I've just explained is part of the 'Emotional Journey'.
What I was really interested in, was the 'Physical Journey' as I've had a chronic illness for the past 6 years. In the book, Brandon describes how she dissolved a very large cancerous tumour. I believe she did this, and she used her experience to pioneer the 'Journey'. I was hoping that this book would help me cure my illness. Unfortunately, after several goes of the CD, I was still seriously ill. The best progress I've made with my illness is using a combination of ideas expresed in other books. Positve thinking and meditation.
I still whole heartedly recommend this book as a good read, but would warn that it may not work for everyone.
Good luck.

I wanted to like this book but I couldn't get past the writing style. Its what should be an inspiring story of a woman who overcomes serious illness, apparently through the power of positive thinking. I found it to be poorly written/edited and a bit repetitive - but my pet hate is when writers reinforce a set of ideas they see as important through repetition. I usually got the point the first time. If you can get past that, good for you, I'm sure its a very well-meaning and thoughtful book.

I have had the great fortune of attending Brandon's workshops in person; the single most transforming work I have ever done. Her book guides you through the techniques just as though you were with her in person. In just two hours I was able to shed 30 years of stored up emotional pain and uncover the true joy and love that lies at the heart of us all. Read it and use it - your life will never be the same again.

A sceptic at first - how can one cure herself of cancer just by using a technique that involved no medical intervention. However as I quickly realised, a lot of things that Brandon says in her book made a lot of sense. She has hit the nail on the head with regards to the meaning of life and happiness by accessing your soul. She describes in detail how to undergo emotional and physical journeys. These are techniques which help release past hurts stored inside your body. I have recently had the privilege of attending one of her weekend seminars and I have noticed the remarkable effect undergoing these journeys have had on me. I feel much lighter, freer and happier. I let go an old hurt that had been affecting my life, it will no longer do so. The techniques are very powerful but also very safe as there is nothing to fear. This book is highly recommended, I guarantee it will change the way you view your life.

I first read this book over 6 years ago and I assure you, it's as fresh as ever. If anything, the down side would be that it cannot possibly reflect the multiple quantum leaps Brandon Bays and The Journey have made over the last couple of years. The depth of healing, liberation and ultimate transformation available through and with The Journey today is unparalleled and people all across the globe use these simple and powerful tools to create the lives they truly want to live. Be it in Europe, AustralAsia, the Americas and even Africa, where I personally witness the heart-warming healing, awakening and forgiveness of young people living in the slums of Nairobi, The Journey is changing lives in a changing world - for the better! Using this modality I myself have rapidly recovered from chronic fatigue, debilitating migraines, a 20 year old "inoperable" sports injury and a pre-cancerous ectopy on the cervix - to name but a few of the physical and emotional issues I've been able to let go of over the years. The Journey is a tool for life, your highway to enlightened awareness and accessing your joyous potential. If you haven't read or experienced it yet, luckily the time has never been better than now!

I've not followed through on this yet but the recording sounds powerful and comes recommended.

The reason that I am writing this is to warn purchasers who may get confused about buying this product The information given on Amazon is minimal and insufficient. I thought I was buying the audiobook of The Journey but this recording assumes you already have this or have read the book. This is the process - ie: a guided activity taking you through the Journey Process. It sounds good but it was not what I wanted. Amazon has so many resellers and such a lot of material on their site now that they need to pay more attention to giving accurate information to their customers. So this comment is not about the book itself but the information managed by Amazon.

The rating looses one star simply because I have not had time to fully see if the process works having bought the wrong book! I cannot confidently give it 5 stars yet but it sounds like it could by in for that later!

The Journey is simply written so can be understood by everyone, but it is inspiring and suffused with hope and beauty throughout. I was so moved by Brandon's book that I went to see her speak and she is extraordinary. I am not into the new age so much but she really moved me. She was so NORMAL but incredibly moving and genuine. I would recommend this to any one who wants to get to know themselves a bit better. There is a worksheet at the back so you too can do the journey.
Hurrah I loved it
