4.0 out of 5 stars excellent theory source for reflexology/massage courses
I have used this book since September 1999 as I teach anatomy and physiology to massage therapy and reflexology students in Londonderry,N Ireland. The diagrams are clear and uncluttered with the text being informative yet not too detailed at this level.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lacks a diagram showing relative position of all organs
Not suitable if you are a lay person looking for a general information book on the subject - definitely aimed at the health care professional. I was disappointed as it lacks a single diagram that shows you where all the organs (kidnes, lungs, etc) are in relation to eachother. It goes straight into details about all the different body systems without this kind of summary...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book, 21 Jun 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Basic Anatomy and Physiology Fourth Edition (Paperback)
This is one of the course books I need for my ITEC massage course and, while pretty technical, seems very easy to read and follow. The proof, of course, will be if I've absorbed enough to pass my exam!
