If your soul desires to know the one true and living God, REES HOWELLS INTERCESSOR will introduce you to him. There are mysteries in the Holy Scriptures that only the Spirit of God can reveal. Rees Howells' life is an accounting of His divine lessons in this intercessor's life. This book will bring to life new meaning to 1John 2:27 "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." I challenge you to this kind of faithful life. I am into my third or fourth reading of this book...over the past 8 years. This book reveals a true and personal God who is willing to take any one of us willing to walk His walk and talk His talk. Read this book! Our God is an AWESOME God! Sheri Chase

tom lennie (see more about me) from scotland This is a most amazing biography. I've read literally scores of Christian biographies, but this is undoubtedly one of the most enriching of them all. I've read it over and over - there's just so much in it; the life story of a Welsh man who sought to fully trust God in all he did, and who constantly stepped out in faith, often 'dangerously', yet God always provided for him. So challenging to each of us personally to really 'walk' with God, to put our faith to the test.
A VERY rewarding read indeed.

Rees Howells lived a kind of Christianity that one might think extreme and unnecessary, but the rewards are truly unimaginable if we only press on in obedience and seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in every area of our lives. This is an encouraging book in which Rees Howells demonstrated how he fulfilled his call to a spirit-filled life with all the tests, trials and tribulations!!

Each chapter of the book tells how he came through from what seems to be the simplest, to the most challenging of tests to gain a higher spiritual promotion in his intercession. As he prayed, fasted, seeked and obeyed... The Holy Spirit gave him strategies, so he knew exactly what and how to pray, when to start and stop the intercessions - through which gained him (and God's kingdom) victory everytime!!

A brief record in retrospect of such a Godly man and what God accomplished through him, but a very rich book indeed on how awesome Christianity can and should be.

This book is a must read for anyone interested in the life of prayer and particularly those who desire to become intercessors.
Through the story of Rees Howells life and his training at the hand of the Lord in his intercessory life we learn the tremendous committment required, the enormous cost of true intercession and one is challenged to review ones own depth in prayer and desire to enter into the spiritual battle.
At a time when our nation desperately needs people of prayer and prophetic vision, this book offers an insight into how we might gain the victory in the spirit though committed intercession.

Rees Howells was an awesome bloke, clearly. The book is fantastic and gives an insight into a time when people trusted God on His word and then acted upon it. He was blessed because he was obedient and faithful and as such his obedience affects so many others still to this day. A very good read.

The book shows that its not where you're from but where will you go. This gives an insight to Rees Howells extraordinary life during the early 1900's, when he lets God take complete control of his life, becoming a intercessor for others, showing that prayer is a powerful tool in changing people's lives and historical events

So challenging I had to put it down for several years and occasionally dip into it. The prayer for national and international events during the Battle of Britain are extraordinary.

I haven't quite finished the book yet but have found it very challenging and in some ways daunting but it is good to see the levels some people can get to in their relationship with God. The book gives you a new objective & makes you realise you've got a long way to go!
