5.0 out of 5 stars Curves of Time.

Found Niemeyer a really irritating character - a privileged kid with marxist tendencies who is an uncritical apologist for the USSR, makes excuses for his adulatory while lightly brushing off how it affected those around him and generally perceiving himself with a not insignificant amount of self-regard.

I'm undecided on the buildings.

However the formalism of his profession and the difficulty of it is portrayed by someone who was at the helm of a career that was asked to relate form to so many buildings. It is notable also for portrayals of his contemporaries. A book that flies of the page and evokes the intellectualism and the sensous nature of a pursuit of genuine creative realisation. It has an affinity with me.moir by vic reeves. I wrote this review because I saw how popular that book was.
