Although I found Williamson's previous book 'decoding advertisements' awesome, this book has nothing to do with it. It's very unfortunate to have this title, which promised me something completely else and therefore led to frustrations. Although I liked the phrase 'artificial light of positivism' quite a lot, the book in total is not I was looking for - on advertising or on marketing. Perhaps this comment helps you with it...
