5.0 out of 5 stars Science, Philosophy and the Spiritual.
This book will give you a great deal more than insight into the field of quantum physics. Gary manages to make this notoriously dry subject accessible to those not in the least bit interested in Mathematics and at the same time let the reader discover that science and spirit are perhaps not that far apart as would first seem. For those with an enquiring mind there...

It seems like the story behind this book is that, by his own account, he was in an emotionally volatile period of sexual addiction, motorcycles, anger, and experimentation with drugs when an unexpected introduction to quantum physics at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory initiated changes in his experience that led to this book (see wikipedia). I think this probably means...

This review is from: The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics (Paperback)
This book will give you a great deal more than insight into the field of quantum physics. Gary manages to make this notoriously dry subject accessible to those not in the least bit interested in Mathematics and at the same time let the reader discover that science and spirit are perhaps not that far apart as would first seem. For those with an enquiring mind there is sufficient detail to satisfy but in addition there is a corresponding amount for further thought. The book allows the reader the glimpse into the structure of the universe that shows us that we are not all as separate as we once thought and gives an excellent springboard for further pholosophical thought on the nature of perception- loved it.

This book gave me so many new concepts to what I already believed in. One of the few books that you will go back to again and again.

I found this book to be a brilliant lay man's guide to quantum physics. It explains everything very clearly from every angle in a way that anyone can understand. Excellent.

1.0 out of 5 stars riding the gravy train, 17 Nov 2013
This review is from: The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics (Paperback)
I think this probably means that he met Fritjof Capra (author of The Tao of Physics) at a party and thought "that's a good idea, I can write a book on physics and mysticism and the good thing is that I don't have to know anything at all about either subject. It'll be just like money in the bank". And it is.

1.0 out of 5 stars Physics for the New Age?, 26 Mar 2012
This review is from: The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics (Paperback)
I read this book many years ago and it made quite an impression on me but for all the wrong reasons, basically it is a load of hippy drippy drivel. Having come across this book again my opinion has not changed.
