I bought this book hoping to learn the actual versions of the songs Oasis played on the day in Wembley, but it turns out the tabs are just of the original versions!?
The first giveaway is "Go Let It Out", the first song performed by the band on the day - the tab says to play the song with an acoustic...well, did you see an acoustic on stage at the time? Like Wonderwall, the original version was multi-layered with an acoustic, but at the gig Noel played it with a Fender Telecaster, so they cannot possibly be tabbed for the live versions. I was absolutely devastated, as I knew right from opening the book that these weren't the correct versions, and I had been looking forward to playing some of Noel's improvised licks and solos on songs like Supersonic, Live Forever and Cigarettes and Alcohol.
If you are a beginner guitar player who is just wanting to play the songs regardless of whether they are the live versions or not, then this book is for the most part good. Helter Skelter, Step Out and Hey Hey My My are all perfect and sound awesome and true to the originals, but there are some tabs, like Acquiesce and Don't Look Back In Anger, which are just terrible. In Acquiesce the chorus is tabbed with power chords and weird arpeggios in this book. This is wrong, the chorus is just a repeated Fsus2, C, G progression (I have no idea where those arpeggios came from), and watch Noel play the guitar solo in the intro (it is the same as the original) it is nothing like that strange arpeggiated pattern tabbed in this book. And the lead arrangements for the intro and bridge in Don't Look Back In Anger are wrong. I can't exactly go into detail here on how they're supposed to go but I can tell you for certain that this book's version is wrong (the mini solo at the end of the intro and the bridge parts are meant to be played by hammering on from the 5th to 7th frets)!
If you want to play Oasis songs, the best thing you can ever buy is the "Complete Chord Songbook" also available on Amazon. I have used it from the day I bought it and have never looked back, it has all the material you will ever need to master the rhythm parts. This book contains the chords for every single Oasis song there is, and all are 100% authentic. This means that once you have listened to the Oasis songs and have learned the rhythm (by watching when to change chord relative to the lyrics) you can potentially play any Oasis song there is. The only time this falls down and you might need to buy a tab book like this is when you want to learn the guitar solos and lead breaks - however once you become a more experienced guitar player you can learn how to play Noel's solos pretty much by ear, as they all tend to originate from the 5th - 9th frets, so you probably won't need to bother with a tab book anyway.
I know I keep complaining about how many of the tabs in this book aren't authentic, but this is crucial for a beginner guitarist who wants to be able to play the song correctly, and understand that Oasis centre all the rhythm of their music around open chords. Contrary to what this book implies, Noel/Gem/Bonehead will very rarely use power chords.
So to summarise, buy the "Complete Chord Songbook" first, this is all you will ever need to play Oasis acoustic songs or the rhythm guitar parts and will enable you to jump straight into playing their songs. I would then suggest buying this book if you want to look at the guitar parts in greater detail or want to learn the lead parts, as these parts are covered pretty accurately in this book (make note of the exceptions listed above). Just bear in mind that the odd lick tabbed in this book is dodgy, and they are not the live versions from the gig. Otherwise a useful book, and a recommendation for an Oasis fan.

If you wanna learn to play the best Oasis tunes on your guitar then look no further. All the songs from the 'Wembley 2000' Gigs (plus Helter Skelter) in standard tablature. For a full listing look up the Double CD album/DVD of the same name. The tab for the songs from Definitley Maybe (Supersonic, Shakermaker, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Live Forever, and Rock'n'Roll Star) is outstanding, needless to say the rest is also well up to par. So, put some fresh strings on your guitar, turn yer amp up to 10 (or 11 if the cap fits!!!), and use this book to play the songs that WILL Live Forever.

I have been a fan of Oasis since I first heard them as a kid. Familiar to Millions was a sensational live CD; and a great best of. This book lets you play al their greatest songs perfectly. I learnt so much from this tab book, so if you play guitar grab a copy and learn from the masters!

Now that you have listened the audio cd and watched the dvd, here is this paperback about that unforgettable and memorable mega concert. If you really are a fan of Oasis you will not regret getting this paperback, wich contains lots of information about the event, pictures and most important, remembrances if you were one of the persons in Wembley Stadium that night.
