5.0 out of 5 stars A must for the 199, 7 May 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Accident and Emergency: Theory into Practice (Paperback)
This book should be the standard text for all A&E nurses. It provides an excelent basis for all aspect of A&E nursing in a very readable format. If you are an A&E nurse you should have this book, at last a good A&E nursing book that isn't american.I'm currently doing my ENB199 and allways read this book first and then go on and search for articles. Although some of lastest ideas are missed out this is the same with all books, especially in A&E. For both theory and practical issues, this book provides the most comprehensive cover you will find.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Godsend to the A&E Nurse!, 7 Jan 2001
This review is from: Accident and Emergency: Theory into Practice (Paperback)
I am currently undertaking the Accident & Emergency nurse specialist course (ENB 199 for those in the know!) and have found this book an absolutely invaluable source of information as well as a brilliant starting point for a literature search. It is well written, up to date and practicle. I know that my tutor also rates this book as it was he who recommended it to me. I am sure that any A&E nurse or student nurse about to undertake the A&E placement will find it a must have book to have on their shelf. It is so good and informative that I felt unable to continue without my own copy.
