5.0 out of 5 stars Wow. No really, I mean it. Wow., 10 Feb. 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Armageddon Inheritance (Baen SF) (Mass Market Paperback)
What a book! Imaginative, well written, funny in places, sad in others. Why aren't David Weber's books published in England? I have to go to America to buy them! The storyline of this book was great, revolving around Colin MacIntyre's journey across the Galaxy to find more Imperial Starships to fight off the genocidal Achuultani, culminating in a really great ending. (I won't say what happens though!) The characters developed in Mutineer's Moon are explored in greater depth in this second volume of his series. Anyone reading this review- don't. Just go and buy the book. I'll give you all the encouragement you need.

This review is from: Armageddon Inheritance (Baen SF) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book, along with its prequel is an intensive action and moving story.

I found a moral to this story. You will have to read them to see what it

means for you.

I sincerely hope that Mr. Weber will write the sequel to this one, because

I believe that it will be literally out of this world!

5.0 out of 5 stars Faced with these ships, the Borg would be exterminated!, 21 Aug. 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Armageddon Inheritance (Baen SF) (Mass Market Paperback)
The best space warfare yarn to come around in a decade. The starship weapon systems, strategies and combat tactics described by David Weber are the most realistic I have encountered in a long time. This Imperial series is the benchmark. Even Star Trek fall short of this quality and combat realism. Give me more!!!
As a former military aviation Flight Test Engineer and Operations Analysist; this future universe is presented to almost perfection. David Weber has moved the current state-of-the-art of air warfare into the region of interstellar battle.
