After the disappointing second volume in this series of fan written stories I had trepidation about buying volume III, but I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. There is still a slight over-emphasis on redundant soap opera material, but thankfully there is also a wealth of good ideas worthy of any Star Trek collection. I still think this isn't quite as good a collection as volume I but it is definitely light years ahead of volume II, and because of that I will certainly be looking out for volume IV when it is published. Deserving of a hearty "Well Done" to most of the contributors.

This book is so Star Trek; the whole serice is. The writers are the next Peter Davids and Diane Careys. They followed the Star Trek universes with there own style and insights and I look forward to seeing them along side the other titles in star trek.
