This review is from: Against the Stranger: Journeys Through Occupied Territory (Hardcover)
Bearing in mind that this was published (at time of review) about 8 years ago, things have got quite a bit worse, and the children throwing stones at soldiers are now having their own children. Gives a quite clear picture of the 'slow burn' ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in the occupied territories, the moral failure of the PLO leadership, the bone-headed and ultimately futile rage of the more radical groups like Hamas, and the wasted lives and shattered hopes of a whole people.
