The stories are good, even though I haven't read any earlier titles, I enjoyed this. Because the stories are by different authors they do vary in quality. The only problem is odd grammar due to missing words - not solely due to Amazon's poor layout and proof reading - and stupid mistakes: one character was "conscientious" of the floor, but should have been "conscious" of it, and Matabeleland was in Africa, not the West Indies, a mistake no Victorian British person would make. The book is good, with careful proof reading it would be even better.

A thoroughly enjoyable amble through the archives of the Ministry with diverse tales by brilliant writers fleshing out the MPO world with new styles and new voices.
If you enjoyed either of the previous novels you'll want to get your eyeballs on this little steampunk gem.
