This book covers RADIUS in not huge detail, enough information is given to get a a RADIUS server up and running, this section is based on an old version Freeradius, the trouble with this step by step installation and configuration is that the later versions have change a fair bit, having said that the older methods in this book are currently supported.Common problems are covered and links to a suitable test tool is very much welcome. It is not a daunting book to read and is a worthy addition to the other Orielly books range. Am I glad I ordered it from Amazon? You bet. |
