i purchased the book as my origins are from india and i am anglo indian so i was very intrigued as to what kind of
food people ate there there are some dishes which have just been brought over from england which wouldn,t be out of place in an english restaurant but there were quite a lot of others such as pish pash which i ate as a child and remember and country captain its well worth buying and makes interesting reading and the receipes are not to difficult to make good luck i enjoy the book as it helps me find out about my culture

4.0 out of 5 stars preferred first edition, 14 April 2011
This review is from: Anglo-Indian Food and Customs: Tenth Anniversary Edition (Paperback)
I have Patricia Brown's first book on Anglo Indian cookery and find it very useful and the recipes I use authentic. The expanded second version of the book is too complicated and has included a broader selection of recipes, quite a few of which I had never heard of.
