5.0 out of 5 stars Great books! Great editions! Great price!
I must admit I was one of those people who read the Da Vinci code first, even though Angels and Demons is set first. While I slightly prefer Da Vinci code to A & D, they are both amazing books, both touch on different yet equally interesting subjects:

1.0 out of 5 stars Please
If you have two brain cells to rub together, if you are offended by Strictly Come Dancing, if you do not think Wetherspoons is a good pub substitute, if you've never considered buying a pair of Ugg boots or naming your first-born Chantelle, please, please, do not buy this box set. The writing style is childish and the characters are two-dimensional. Making a book larger,...

Anyway, you probably are aware with the general stories, what makes these editions special? Well, for one thing, there is no comparison between normal and the illustrated editions of both books, its much more rewarding to actually see acolour picture of the Last Supper while the characters are discussing it, or to see the many tombs, cathedrals and monuments discussed in Angels and Demons.
A must-buy

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying for the illustrations, 8 Sep 2006

I can only repeat what's been said before, two amazing stories (Angels & Demons being my favourite) and made all the better for being illustrated. I recently brought the illustrated version of LOTR and i was quite dissapointed as there was actually very little in the way of illustration. These two books however are loaded with pictures and photographs and add a whole new dimension to the books. The books are very heavy, come in a nice solid slipcase and are printed on very high quality paper.
